CytoCare Showcased on CBS National News and CBS Affiliates

Frisco, TX - Dec. 17th, 2007 – CBS News will be running the story December 17th and 18th on CytoCare at University of Colorado Hospital - ‘SAFER CHEMOTHERAPY, THANKS TO A NEW ROBOT THAT MEASURES AND MIXES THEIR TREATMENT’. Han Myint, MD, FRCP, FRC-Path, Nancy Stolpman, PharmD, PhD, and a patient were interviewed by CBS News.  The story is about CytoCare, a robot which automates chemotherapy compounding for syringes and IV bags.   University of Colorado Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center are the first health care providers in North America to use CytoCare technology.  Primus Innovations, Inc. recently demonstrated the robot, CytoCare, at the ASHP Midyear meeting in Las Vegas, NV and received overwhelming interest and feedback.  We will continue to look for outstanding institutions like Baylor and Colorado to partner with to provide this technology to patients and staff.
